Resolution Adopting the Tentative County Supervisory District Plan ADJOURN (Items may be taken in different order) *Changes or Additions after the Preliminary Agenda **Late Changes andAdditions 5/13/20112:32:50 PM UNOFFICIAL MINUTES OF THE ST.CROIX COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS Special Meeting — May 25, 2011 Meeting called to order by Chair Standafer at 3:00 p.m. ROLL CALL: 13 Present; 6 Absent: Supr. Horne, Supr. Meyer, Supr. J Hurtgen, Supr. Sather, Supr. Rebholz and Supr. Shearer. REVIEW OF AGENDA OLD AND NEW BUSINESS 1. Resolution #43(2011) Adopting the Tentative County Supervisory District Plan. Chair Standafer invited Ellen Denzer forward. Motion by Supr. Sicard, 2nd by Supr. Larson to remove the Resolution Adopting the Tentative County Supervisory District Plan from the table. Carried unanimously. Chair Standafer explained the Administration Committee passed a tentative plan titled 9B. Motion by Marzolf, 2nd by Schrank to amend the resolution by striking draft 7 and inserting draft 9B. Denzer explained the reduction of splits in the Town of St. Joseph and the horizontal split in the City of New Richmond. Chair Standafer confirmed Supr. Shearer and Supr. Horne supported the changes. Amendment carried unanimously. Motion by Sicard, 2nd by Larson to adopt the amended resolution. Supr. Malick stated this appears to solve the two problems that came up at the previous meeting noting a larger block for the Town of St. Joseph and drawing the line in City of New Richmond for interests of the neighborhoods. Carried: Yes — 12; No - 1.
