SUPERVISORY DISTRICT PLANS

WHEREAS, the United States Constitution requires a census once every 10 years; and
WHEREAS, the census is used to create supervisory districts within St. Croix County every 10 years; and
WHEREAS, the 2010 census has been completed; and
WHEREAS, State law requires county boards to hold public hearings and adopt a tentative supervisory
district plan and a final supervisory district plan; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to direct a committee to develop the tentative supervisory district plan and the
final supervisory district plan, and present them to the County Board; and
WHEREAS, it would be appropriate for the the Administration Committee to so act.
THEREFORE, be it resolved that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors does hereby direct the
Administration Committee to develop a tentative supervisory district plan and a final supervisory district
plan and recommend them to the County Board for adoption within time limits established by law.
