This letter serves as the approval for Land Use Permit 2023-030. The permit was submitted for after -the -fact work
on the property in the shoreland overlay that included construction of a pool and other impervious surface.
Please take note, when doing any work within the shoreland overlay of the Kinnickinnic River and the two ponds on
the proeprty, including any alteration to the vegetation, please contact Staff to ensure that a permit is not required
for the propsosed work.
This permit is considered to be completed and closed out. No further action is required from you.

Note:
"Impervious Surface" means an area that releases as runoff all or a majority of the precipitation that
falls on it. "Impervious surface" excludes frozen soil but includes rooftops, sidewalks, driveways,
parking lots, and streets unless specifically designed, constructed, and maintained to be pervious.
Staff can make additional impervious determinations based upon site specific circumstances.
This handout is intended to summarize the standards, not replace the actual ordinance. For more
