The agreement with the Indian Tribes has been signed by former County Board Chair Rich Peterson and former City of Hudson Mayor Tom Redner. An environmental impact statement has been completed and sent to the Reigonal Bureau of Indian Affairs. The Clerk of Courts office will contract with Tom McGrath for collection of bad debts from unpaid traffic fines, court fines and other fees. A catastrophic traffic accident will greatly impact the county's liability fund. The "three strikes -you're out" law passed which does not allow parole for a person convicted of three felonies. There was an increase in funding for the Healthy Start program. The PECFA petroleum clean up program was expanded to cover tanks under the size of 1100 gallons.
