The meeting was called to order by Chairman Chris Bethke at 9:00 a.m.
Art Jensen moved that the agenda be adopted as presented. Lois Burri seconded the motion.
Motion carried.
ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT
The committee interviewed Shawn Bernick and Jonathan Behling for the 40% horticulture agent
position. Jensen moved to offer the horticulture position to Bernick at $14,400 and if Bernick
declines to offer it to Behling at $14,600. (St. Croix County will pay 40% of these salaries.)
Bethke second. Motion carried.
PLANNING DEPARTMENT'S REPORT
Recycling Specialist Job Description
Fodroczi presented proposed changes to the existing Recycling Technician job description that
would be revised to Recycling Specialist. The changes reflect existing and ongoing
responsibilities for the position. The position description needs to be updated for position
recruitment due the retirement of Mary Barney. Fodroczi reported that Personnel Director Deb
Kathan had reviewed the proposed revisions.
Motion by Jensen, seconded by Burn, to approve the revised job description. Motion carried.
Motion by Jensen, seconded by Bethke to adjourn the meeting at 12:30 p.m. Motion carried.
