A Class II notice was published in the Star Observer on November 2, 2023 and November 9, 2023 establishing a public hearing on November 16, 2023 at 5:00 PM with the St. Croix County Community Development Committee (CDC) in the St. Croix County Government Center Board Room, 1101 Carmichael Road, Hudson, Wisconsin. The staff report/recommendation and rezoning application materials are included in the agenda packet. Ordinance No. 922 (2023) AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP 29N, RANGE 16W, TOWN OF BALDWIN - REZONING 22.9 ACRES FROM AG-1 AGRICULTURAL TO AG-2 AGRICULTURAL ZONING DISTRICT 1 The St. Croix County Board of Supervisors does hereby ordain as follows: 2 3 The St. Croix County Code of Ordinances, Land Use and Development, for the County of St. 4 Croix, Wisconsin, is hereby amended by rezoning the following property: 5 6 A parcel of land located in part of the SW ¼ of the SW ¼ of Section 5, T29N, R16W, Town of 7 Baldwin, St. Croix County, Wisconsin, further described as follows: 8 9 Beginning at the SW corner of said Section 5; thence along the west line of the said 10 SW ¼ of the SW ¼ N00°02'45"W, 280.64' to the south line of Lot 1 of Certified Survey Map 11 Volume 2, page 363 (Document # 339716) at the St. Croix County Register of Deeds; thence 12 along said south line N89°57'15"E, 524.00' to the east line of said Lot 1; thence along said east 13 line N00°02'45"W, 309.00' to an angle point of said Lot 1; thence along said Lot 1 lot line 14 S89°57'15"W, 144.00' to another angle point and the continued east line of Lot 1 ; thence along 15 said east line N00°02'45"W, 392.00'; thence S87°58'05"E, 506.46'; thence S73°11'08"E, 16 309.70'; thence S82°27'45"E, 125.54' to the east line of said SW ¼ of the SW ¼; thence along 17 last said east line S00°09'20"E, 911.77' to the south line of said SW ¼ of the SW ¼; thence along 18 last said south line N87°38'40"W, 1309.86' to the point of beginning. 19 20 Containing 970,803 square feet (22.29 acres) more or less and being subject to the right of way 21 of 220th street and any easements, restrictions or covenants of record. 22 23 From AG-1 Agricultural Zoning District to AG-2 Agricultural Zoning District 24 25 The official zoning map of the Town of Rush River on file in the Community Development 26 Department shall be amended in accordance with this ordinance. 27 28 This ordinance shall be effective upon passage and publication as provided in Wis. Stat. § 59.14. 29 This ordinance shall not be codified.
