TACTICAL INTEROPERABLE COMMUNICATIONS PLAN (TICP)

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, St. Croix County was selected to receive funding to complete a Tactical
Interoperable Communications Plan (TICP) through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security;
and
WHEREAS, the TICP is intended to document the interoperable communications resources
available within St. Croix County, who controls each resource and what rules of use or
operational procedures exist for the activation and deactivation of each resource; and
WHEREAS, the Wisconsin Office of Justice Assistance has declared that eligibility for future
grant funding through their office will be contingent upon a county having an approved TICP on
file; and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Public Protection Committee has reviewed the TICP and
recommends its approval.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that
the Tactical Interoperable Communications Plan is hereby approved.
