St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, on October 21, 2008, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors adopted
Resolution 33(2008) authorizing the issuance of $3,180,000 general obligation promissory notes
for the purpose of paying the cost of building improvements, equipment acquisition and related
expenses including Government Center 14VAC system improvements and roof replacement and
emergency communications base radio replacement; and
WHEREAS, the projects have come in under budget and there remains $72,204 of bond
proceeds that need to be spent within three years of the bond issue and these dollars are more
restrictive than the general capital project fund; and
WHEREAS, general capital project fund dollars were used for the Baldwin Ag Center
roof replacement and would have qualified as a project under the bond issue.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the
remaining 2008 bond proceeds will be allocated to pay part of the Baldwin Ag Center roof
replacement.
