I believe the iron pipe shown, Iron Pipe "A" is the stake follows: Beginning at an iron pipe stake on the South line referenced in the deed. Distance fits reasonably well to an old fence corner near the of Government Lot 1 a distance of 2,103 feet West of the Southeast corner of Government Lot 3 which is likely the point which would have been measured from at the time of creation of the property. Additionally, this stake Southeast corner of said Government Lot 1, thence West fits well with iron pipes defining the parcel directly south of the property surveyed 25 feet, more or less, to Lake St. Croix thence Northerly hereon and two additional iron pipes of unknown origin lying easterly of Iron Pipe along the shore of Lake St. Croix 360 feet, more or less, to "A". Iron Pipe "B" is of unknown origin, however it fits well with a dimension call the centerline of said rocky gully bearing Southeasterly, on the property directly north of said Iron Pipe `B". Investigation of Section 36 also thence Southeasterly along the centerline of said rocky revealed that if a theoretical section subdivision was completed using a mean gully to the South line of said Government Lot 1, thence bearing between the projected north line of Section 36 (projecting the Northeast West along the South line of said Government Lot 1 to corner through the North Quarter corner) and the monumented east -west Quarter point of beginning. line (between the East quarter corner and the monumented Southeast corner of `B". Government Lot 2) would fit within 0.4 of Iron Pipe Based on the information noted above, Iron pipes "A" and `B" were determined to be the best evidence NOTE A: available to establish the south line of Government Lot 1 which is the south ® ALUMINUM ST.
