We don't regulate patios, so you won't need to get a building permit for the project. Since
you're on the river, you'll need to contact the county zoning office at (715)386-4680 to see if
they have any requirements.

Message: Hi Brian. We live on the W. side of the Apple River near Star Prairie with a flat lawn
from the house to the river bank. We have been extremely careful over the 9.5 yrs. we have
lived here to prevent any type of erosion to the bank or yard and would like your advice if
restrictions apply to laying a permeable paver 16 ft. x 16 ft. sq. in our back yard area. We would
consider having Lake Kountry install if allowed and would not disturb any of the river bank.
Please advise. Thank you!
