Hearing called to order on July 27, 1976, by Chairman Luckwaldt. All
r m-I embers present. Minutes of the June 29, 1976, hearing were read and approf '(,ed,
Zoning Administrator read the Notice of Public Heap ir)g as published
in the New Richmond News.
Mr. Arthur Partridge presented a request to build 45 feet from the
bluffline on three lots,in the St. Croix Riverway District. Mr. Partridge
al requested a variance from the net project area of less than. I acre on
lot 3 along with the height variance not to exceed 35 feet,
Mr. Tom Muellner of D.N.R. presented objections of the request stating
that the Zoning Committee did not take the St. Croix Rive rway District into
consideration when they approved the minor subdivision as there were variances
needed for approval and that the variance request is.a self created hardship.
Mr. Steve Kartak of the Minnesota/Wisconsin Boundary Commission
objected to the request as the,lots need several variances and that there
are possible other area areas fdr building lots.
Questions asked by members of the Board. Mr. Partridge asked
questions of Mr. Muellner and Mr. Kartack.
Motion by Supv. Pierson to continue this hearing on August 10, 1976,
at 10:00 a.m. Seconded by Supv. Afdahl. Motion carried.
Chairman Luckwaldt informed those present that the Board would inspect
the property before any decision would be made.
Hearing adjourned at 11:15 a.m.
Zoning Administrator introdiiced Assistant District Attorney Micael
Jakus to the Board.
The Board decided to wait until a later date to make the trip to the
Racine County Board of Adjustments Hearing.
Motion by Supv® Afdahl, seconded by Supv. Pierson to adjourn. Motion
carried.
