Meeting of December 19, 1978, Batted to onden by Chairman Pierson at
10:15 a.m. AZZ members present. Minutes of the November 28, 1978, 'meeting
acceded as read.

Hearing caned to order by Chairman Pierson at 10 : 30 a.m. AZZ members
present.
Zoning Administratot read notice as printed in the county designated
newspaper, Hudson Siam Observer. °
Mr. Wittiam Gitbent Attorney, and Mr. Dan Greenwatd presented the request
of Mr. Gneeenwatd to have a tilt on the Kope of the St. Croix Rivetway
District. Mr. Gteenwatd has eonstnucted a ti4t in the Riverway not knowing
that a variance would be tequired.
Mt. Gitbett questioned Mr. Gneenwatd on when the .land was purchased
and reasons the .gilt is needed. Mo. Gneenwatd has owned the .hand since 1967
and stated health and economic reasons {got the reason lot the tilt.
Mo. Gitbent stated that Minnesota permits ti4ts and other structures
within the W44tine.
Questions by Chairman Pierson.
Mr. At Santata, DNR, spoke against granting the request. He said the board
cannot grant a vanianee under the pxesent ordinance and that the ordinance be
en{►onced.
Chairman Pierson infonmed Mr. Gitbett and Mr. Gteenwatd that a4ten
consuttation with the Distxict Attorney, the Board would make a decision and
the Zoning Administrator would in4onm them of the decision.
Mr. Genatd Kus etik, Town of Batdwin, presented his request to construct
a 6 i.etd access driveway on a 4arm he purchased that would have a separation
of .less than 500 feet Qom another driveway. It wilt be onty 473 feet.
Mr. Kusek'ik explained that he bought the 4anm .less the buitdings and has
been using .the otd driveway but the buitdings have been s otd and the access
has been cut off.
Questions by Board members.
Mr. Kus etik agreed that it would be a 6ietd access and that if the
ptopenty was used lot anything but crop .hand, the access would be etiminated.
Chairman Pierson in4onmed Mr. Kusetik that the Zoning Administrator would
in4o4m him of their decision a4ter .inspection of the pnopenty had been made.
Motion by Supervisor Geonge to table the Veterinaxy Clinic &,quest until
the January meetings as there was no one to present the request, seconded
by Supenvis on Qdaht, motion carried.
