PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
APRIL 20, 1993
ST. CROIX COUNTY COURTHOUSE, COUNTY BOARD OFFICE, HUDSON, WI
PRESENT: Vice Chairperson William Oemichen; Supervisor's Robert Boche, Linda Luckey and
George Menter. Staff present included Dave Fodroczi and Tom Nelson. Guests in
attendance were County Board Chairperson Rich Peterson.
ABSENT: Supervisor Tom Dorsey, excused.
Vice Chairperson Oemichen called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
Review and Discussion of Industrial/Commercial Zoning Districts
Fodroczi presented a draft list of permitted uses and special exceptions for a proposed light industrial
district. He indicated that a purpose statement, performance standards and setback requirements would
need to be developed and reviewed. The Committee discussed the differences between light industrial
and heavy manufacturing and the need to remove some uses or add another heavy industrial district.
Fodroczi said that the draft list was purposely made extensive to generate response and discussion. The
Committee accepted the draft and Vice Chairperson Oemichen requested continued discussion at the
next regular meeting on April 27, 1993.
Vice Chairperson Oemichen adjourned the Committee at 3:20 p.m.
