A Quorum of the Committee Will Be Attending the Bi-Weekly Construction Meeting CORRESPONDENCE: ADJOURNMENT (Agenda not necessarily presented in this order) COPIES TO: County Board Office News Media/Notice Board County Clerk County Board County Departments * *ADDITIONS/CHANGES/CORRECTIONS Last Updated. 1112612003 APPROVED December 3, 2003 Huber Building Committee Meeting Minutes County Board Room, Government Center Building, Hudson CALL TO ORDER - Chair Wentz called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. ROLL CALL - Wentz, Gunderson, Erickson Also in attendance: Speer, Whiting, Best, Robole, Hillstead, Larson, Hillestead, and Thompkins ACTION ON PREVIOUS MINUTES: November 19, 2003 Motion by Gunderson, second by Erickson to approve the minutes of the November 196' meetings. Motion passed unanimously. NEW BUSINESS: 1. Bi-weekly construction meeting. Donna Rodgers from Dell opened the meeting. Several sub- contractors were present and reviewed the project status. It was noted the windows had to be reorder due to an error in sizing. Rodgers noted the new windows would not be delivered until February, causing a delay in the closing of the project. Larson was asked to assist in dealing with this. 2. A sink and fountain issue was discussed with contractors and resolved 3. It was noted that grouting on existing showers had deteriorated. Motion by Erickson, second by Gunderson to allow for up to $2,000 of time and materials to be spent for addressing the grout in existing showers. Motion passed unanimously. 4. The masonry contractor reviewed caulking seams versus tuck-pointing. It was agreed that caulking would suffice. 5. It was noted that security access panels for fan vents were needed. Motion by Gunderson, second by Erickson to approve a change order for $1,390 for security access panels for fan vents. Motion passed unanimously. 6.
