Motion to accept previous meeting minutes by Peterson, second by Palewicz, carried. Next Meeting Date: Thursday, June 19, 2003 at 1:30pm in Board Room at Human Services Complex, New Richmond. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Community Links Project Application: Handout by Lockwood. Went over application with budget for program. Discussion. Motion to support application by Viellieux, second by Wolske, carried. NEW BUSINESS: Financial Report: Hand out by Lockwood. Discussion. Request to check on rm /bd — supported living amount. Variance & Purchase Requests: None COP High -Cost Requests: None Nursing Home relocation requests: None Northern Center Downsizing and Implications for St. Croix County: Handout by Lockwood. Went over handout with fictional names and average costs compared to CIP 1A reimbursement rate. Discussion. Resource Allocation Decision Program (RAD) Pilot Program: Handout by Lockwood. Discussion. Motion to approve participation in RAD by Wolske, second by Sumner, carried. Governor's Proposal to use IGT program to increase CIP 1 B rates and reduce budget deficit: Handout by Lockwood. Discussion. LTS Statewide Advisory Committee: Mortensen reported the meeting was rescheduled for May 6, 2003. Mortensen will report at next meeting. Aging Report — Sandy Gehrmann: Caregiver needs increasing, need 2 full time positions but there is no money for it. Day Away Clubs to expand, one more in Hudson. United Way requests granted. Received $1500 for each Senior Center. Volunteer Recognition Luncheon is April 24 at Garfield's in Hudson. There are 319 registered volunteers at this time. Alzheimer's meetings in Baldwin on the 1s' Thursday of each month. May 20 is the Senior Recognition — Fund Raiser. Cancer Relay for Life walks in Hudson, New Richmond on June 7, 8, 9. Viellieux passed around handout for "People Can't Wait" meeting. Motion made to adjourn at 2:50 p.m. by Mortensen, second by Palewicz. Motion carried.
