Administration Committee - Regular Meeting - Aug 27, 2014 5:00 PM Supervisor Schachtner indicated the minutes would stand as presented. RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC COMMENT* BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Financial Report Finance Director Hansen presented monthly financial reports for administrative and elected departments through July, 2014 as well as the monthly treasurers’ report, and addressed questions from the Committee. 2. 2013 Audit Report-Brock Geyen, CPA, CliftonLarsonAllen LLP Brock Geyen, CPA with CliftonLarsonAllen presented the 2013 year end Federal and State Single Audit reports, Audit Summary and Financial Statements. Mr. Geyen addressed several questions from the Committee. 3. County Library Tax Exemptions No Action 8. 2015 Budget County Administrator Thompson and Finance Director Hansen presented an overview of the 2015 budget requests. Currently there is a $3+million budget gap between requested expenditures and projected revenues. The Committee reviewed individual department budget requests and asked questions of department representatives. There was considerable discussion regarding the varying degree of level of detail of budget line items desired by some Board members. The staff presented a draft Budget Detail Worksheet which will be used to assist Board Members to gain a better understanding of the overall budget. RESULT: DISCUSSED 9. Closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat.19.85 (1)(c) to consider the County Administrator's performance evaluation. Reconvene into open session.
