Supervisor Bergren's seat vacated on Committee after resignation from County Board, waiting for replacement to be appointed. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. Administration Committee – Regular Meeting – April 19, 2017 5:00 PM RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC COMMENT Comments on proposed living wage ordinance expressing concerns, questions, support. BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Financial Reports Administrator Thompson reviewed financial reports for the first quarter of the year and the CIP report. Finance Director Mittet reviewed investment reports. RESULT: DISCUSSED 2. Consideration of 2018 Budget Guidelines Administrative Operations Manager Witt shared budget projections. Administrator Thompson reviewed budget guidelines for 2018. Limited revenues require the County to look at the budget from a two year cycle as policy decisions have ongoing impacts on successive budgets. Moved by Kiesler and seconded by Sjoberg to adopt budget guidelines. Motion carried 4-0. RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Ron Kiesler, Supervisor SECONDER: Roy Sjoberg, Chair AYES: Roy Sjoberg, Jill Ann Berke, Ron Kiesler, Shaela Leibfried 3. Ordinance Creating Chapter 32 Smoking on County Property The new smoking ordinance adds e-cigarettes, and reflects current practices. Moved by Kiesler and seconded by Leibried to recommend smoking ordinance. Motion carried 4-0. RESULT: RECOMMENDED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Ron Kiesler, Supervisor SECONDER: Shaela Leibfried, Supervisor AYES: Roy Sjoberg, Jill Ann Berke, Ron Kiesler, Shaela Leibfried 4. Consideration of Creating Living Wage Ordinance Supervisor Sjoberg introduced living wage ordinance concept. Direction of moving forward with proposed ordinance was discussed.
