Administration Committee – Regular Meeting – September 22, 2021 12:00 PM RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC COMMENT BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Financial Report for September 2021 County Administrator Witt reviewed the financial report for September 2021, pointing out projects that are closing out and the continued strong sales tax collections. RESULT: DISCUSSED 2. Resolution Adopting Final County Supervisory District Plan Planning Administrator Brett Budrow reviewed changes from initial redistricting plan. Changes were in the City and Town of Hudson due to some changing wards in the City. Moved by Peterson, seconded by Ard to recommend resolution adopting final supervisory district plan. Motion carried 5-0. RESULT: RECOMMENDED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: David Peterson, Supervisor SECONDER: Scottie Ard, Vice Chair AYES: Bob Long, Carah Koch, Scottie Ard, David Peterson, William Peavey 3. Resolution Updating Personnel Policies - Chapter 1 Introduction HR Director Davies-Fox reviewed updated Chapter 1 of the personnel policies. Moved by Ard, seconded by Peavey to recommend resolution with updated Chapter 1 personnel policy. Motion carried 5-0. RESULT: RECOMMENDED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Scottie Ard, Vice Chair SECONDER: William Peavey, Supervisor AYES: Bob Long, Carah Koch, Scottie Ard, David Peterson, William Peavey 4. Resolution Adopting 2022 Budget and Establishing Tax Levy County Administrator Witt reviewed the components of the tax levy. Moved by Koch, seconded by Peterson to recommend approval of resolution adopting 2022 budget and establishing tax levy. Motion carried 5-0. Resolution Amending Purchasing Policy Finance Director Simington reviewed updates to the purchasing policy. Moved by Peavey, seconded by Peterson to recommend resolution amending purchasing policy. Review of Citizen and Business Surveys One Year Later County Administrator Witt reviewed survey results in relation to other planning efforts.
