1. Financial Report for April 2022
Administrator Witt presented April financial report.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
2. Resolution Approving Agreement with Members of Hudson Area Joint Library
Administrator Witt provided background on library funding agreement. Hudson Mayor
provided additional background. Agreement will provide a funding source for the
Hudson Joint Library by utilizing the County library levy authority against the four
participating members and they agree not to file an exemption from the County library
levy. Moved by Long, seconded by Berning to approved library funding resolution
conditional on approval of all municipalities. Moved by Counter, seconded by Koch to
amend motion by making resolution also conditional on Wisconsin Counties Association
(WCA) legal review. Motion to amend approved 5-0. Original motion as amended carried
5-0.
RESULT: RECOMMENDED [UNANIMOUS]

3. Consideration of Tax Deed Bids
Two bids for New Richmond property. $202,000 was the highest bid. Fees of $49,091.79
outstanding incurred by the County for this property. Moved by Long, seconded by
Berning to approve high bid of $202,000. Motion carried 5-0.
RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]

4. Discuss Process for Reviewing Mandated Services
Administrator Witt suggested reviewing mandated services report by department at each
of the following meetings. Committee was in agreement on proposed methodology.

Chair Koch requested creation of Broadband Subcommittee or Workgroup.
