Administration Committee – Regular Meeting – August 9, 2022 5:00 PM RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC COMMENT Public comments regarding long term sick bank. BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Financial Report for August 2022 Administrator Witt highlighted certain topics on the financial report. RESULT: DISCUSSED 2. Consideration of Tax Deed Bids County Clerk Hines spoke on the consideration of a bid for a tax deed. Counter motioned and Long second to approve the tax deed for $500.00. Motion carried 5-0. RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Scott Counter, Vice-Chair SECONDER: Bob Long, Supervisor AYES: Bob Long, Carah Koch, Paul Berning, Bob Feidler, Scott Counter 3. Consideration of Mandated/Discretionary Services - County Clerk County Clerk Hines spoke about mandated/discretionary services. RESULT: DISCUSSED-NO ACTION 4. Resolution Amending Personnel Policy Administrator Witt explained a resolution of amending the personnel policy. Koch motioned, Berning second to amend the personnel policy . Motioned carried 5-0. RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Carah Koch, Chair SECONDER: Paul Berning, Supervisor AYES: Bob Long, Carah Koch, Paul Berning, Bob Feidler, Scott Counter 5. Resolution Authorizing Fund Balance Transfer Administrator Witt discussed fund balances and a resolution to authorize fund balance transfer. Long motioned, Counter second to approve fund balance transfer. Motion carried 5-0. Consideration of 2023 Budget Requests Administrator Witt discussed the 2023 budget. RESULT: DISCUSSED-NO ACTION 7. Report on New Positions in 2023 Budget Administrator Witt reported on new positions to be added in the 2023 budget.
