Administration Committee – Regular Meeting – April 18, 2023 5:00 PM RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC COMMENT BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Financial Reports for April 2023 Administrator Ken Witt discussed the financial reports for April 2023. RESULT: DISCUSSED 2. Reclassification Request for Child Support Specialist II to Child Support Coordinator Human Resource Director Audrie Haycraft requested a reclassification for Child Support Specialist II to Child Support Coordinator. Long motioned, Berning second to the reclassification for Child Support Specialist II to Child Support Coordinator. Motion carried 5-0. RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Bob Long, Supervisor SECONDER: Paul Berning, Supervisor AYES: Bob Long, Carah Koch, Paul Berning, Bob Feidler, Scott Counter 3. Resolution Designating the Office of Corporation Counsel to Represent the Interest of the Public under the Children's Code, Pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 48.09(5) Corporation Counsel Heather Amos discussed designating the office of Corporation Counsel to handle CHIPS cases. Berning motioned, Long second designating the office of Corporation Counsel to handle CHIPS cases. Motion carried 5-0. RESULT: RECOMMENDED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Paul Berning, Supervisor SECONDER: Bob Long, Supervisor AYES: Bob Long, Carah Koch, Paul Berning, Bob Feidler, Scott Counter 4. Resolution Amending 2023 Budget to Use ARPA Funds for Broadband Mapping Project Administrator Witt discussed amending 2023 budget to use ARPA funds for the Broadband Mapping Project. Berning motioned, Counter second to amending 2023 budget to use ARPA funds for the Broadband Mapping Project. Motion carried 4-1, Koch abstained. RESULT: RECOMMENDED [4 TO 0] MOVER: Paul Berning, Supervisor SECONDER: Scott Counter, Vice-Chair AYES: Bob Long, Paul Berning, Bob Feidler, Scott Counter ABSTAIN: Carah Koch 5. Resolution Amending Personnel Policy Haycraft discussed the resolution amending Personnel Policy per diem reimbursement for meals. Long motioned, Feidler second to amending Personnel Policy per diem reimbursement for meals. Motion carried 5-0. RESULT: RECOMMENDED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Bob Long, Supervisor SECONDER: Bob Feidler, Supervisor AYES: Bob Long, Carah Koch, Paul Berning, Bob Feidler, Scott Counter 6. Consideration of Tuition Reimbursement Policy Haycraft discussed the Tuition Reimbursement Policy. Haycraft will be reviewing staff development policy and report back any policy changes. RESULT: DISCUSSED-NO ACTION REQUEST FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS Berning requested to rename the crossroads on County Road G after Deputy Kaitie Leising.
