Administration Committee – Regular Meeting – June 20, 2023 5:00 PM RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC COMMENT BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Financial Reports for June 2023 Administrator Witt discussed the financial reports for June 2023 and is on budget. RESULT: DISCUSSED 2. Consideration of Tax Deed Bids- Town of Star Prairie and Town of Somerset County Clerk Christine Hines discussed the tax deed bids for Town of Star Prairie and Town of Somerset. Long motioned, Counter second to accept the bid from the highest bidder on the tax deed bid from Kelly Pechmann and Dan Hofmeister in the Town of Somerset. Motion carried 5-0. Berning motioned, Long second to accept the highest bidder on the tax deed bid in the Town of Star Prairie. Motion carried 5-0. RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Bob Long, Supervisor SECONDER: Scott Counter, Vice-Chair AYES: Bob Long, Carah Koch, Paul Berning, Bob Feidler, Scott Counter 3. Resolution Establishing Library Levy for 2024 Budget Finance Director Chuck Myers and Administrator Witt discussed the library levy for 2024 budget. Berning motioned, Feidler second to approve establishing library levy for the 2024 budget. Motion carried 5-0. RESULT: RECOMMENDED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Paul Berning, Supervisor SECONDER: Bob Feidler, Supervisor AYES: Bob Long, Carah Koch, Paul Berning, Bob Feidler, Scott Counter 4. Resolution Amending Personnel Policies - Introductory Period Human Resource Director Audrie Haycraft discussed amending personnel policies regarding the introductory period for all employees. Berning motioned, Long second to approve amending personnel policies regarding the introductory period for all employees. Motion carried 5-0.
