Administration Committee – Regular Meeting – October 17, 2023 5:00 PM RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC COMMENT BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Financial Reports for November 2023 Administrator Ken Witt discussed the financial reports for November 2023. RESULT: DISCUSSED 2. Reclassification Request for Land Use Conservation Technicians Human Resources Director Audrie Haycraft discussed the reclassification for Land Use Conservation Technicians. Counter motioned, Long second to approve the reclassification for Land Use Conservation Technicians. Motion carried 4-0. RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Scott Counter, Vice-Chair SECONDER: Bob Long, Supervisor AYES: Bob Long, Carah Koch, Bob Feidler, Scott Counter EXCUSED: Paul Berning 3. Reclassification Request for Positions In Conjunction with New Wage Grid Haycraft discussed the reclassification for position in conjunction with new wage grid. Feidler motioned, Counter second to approve the reclassification for position in conjunction with new wage grid. Motion carried 4-0. Resolution Adopting Updated Wage Grid Administrator Witt discussed adopting the updated wage grid. Counter motioned, Feidler second to recommend the resolution adopting the updated wage grid. Motion carried 4-0. Resolution Providing for Additional Step Increases for Health Care Campus Nursing Staff Haycraft discussed the additional step increase for nursing staff. Feidler motioned, Counter second to recommend the resolution for additional step increase for nursing staff. Motion carried 4-0. Long motioned, Counter second to recommend the resolution to amend Personnel Policy - Compensation Classification. Motion carried 4-0. Consideration of Utility Easement with Xcel Energy Corporation Counsel Heather Amos discussed the approval of utility easement with Xcel Energy. Counter motioned, Feidler second to approve easement transmission line through the Pine Lake Park area as requested by Northern States Power Company with the condition that additional language be placed in the first paragraph concerning keeping it under that it would not exceed 100 kV line capacity. Motioned carried 4-0. RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Scott Counter, Vice-Chair SECONDER: Bob Feidler, Supervisor AYES: Bob Long, Carah Koch, Bob Feidler, Scott Counter EXCUSED: Paul Berning REQUEST FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS For the number two item on the agenda, Feidler would like to potentially create a mechanism to make some of these conversations for a consent to agenda for staff opportunities for a future item. ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE Administrator Witt announced there will be a special Community Development Committee meeting right before the County Board meeting discussing a budget amendment item.
