Administration Committee – Regular Meeting – February 20, 2024 5:00 PM February Minutes was accepted. RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC COMMENT BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Election of Chair Supervisor Berning was nominated for the Chair of Administration Committee. Feidler motioned, Sherley second to elect Berning for the Chair of Administration Committee. Motion carried 5-0. RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Bob Feidler, Supervisor SECONDER: Ryan Sherley, Supervisor AYES: Bob Long, Paul Berning, Bob Feidler, Scott Counter, Ryan Sherley 2. Election of Vice-Chair Supervisor Counter was nominated for Vice Chair of the Administration Committee. Feidler motioned, Sherley second to elect Counter as the Vice Chair of the Administration Committee. Motion carried 5-0. RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Bob Feidler, Supervisor SECONDER: Ryan Sherley, Supervisor AYES: Bob Long, Paul Berning, Bob Feidler, Scott Counter, Ryan Sherley 3. Consideration of Regular Meeting Schedule Date and Time Administrator Ken Witt stated the regular meeting schedule date and time currently the third Tuesday at 5 pm. Chair Berning opened the discussion with the committee and there will be no change to the current scheduled meeting and time. RESULT: DISCUSSED REQUEST FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS Supervisor Counter would like to consider having a resolution regarding the separation between the Judicial and Legislative Branch of Government. ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE CLOSED SESSION 1. Closed Session pursuant to Wisconsin Statute § 19.85(1)(e) for deliberation regarding strategy for union contract negotiations. Chair Berning announced a closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statute § 19.85(1)(e) for deliberation regarding strategy for union negotiations. Fielder motioned, Long second for a closed session for deliberation regarding strategy for union negotiations. Motion carried on a roll call vote 5-0. RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Bob Feidler, Supervisor SECONDER: Bob Long, Supervisor AYES: Bob Long, Paul Berning, Bob Feidler, Scott Counter, Ryan Sherley ADJOURN The meeting adjourned at 5:49 pm.
