Administration Committee – Regular Meeting – December 19, 2023 5:00 PM RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC COMMENT There were 27 public comments regarding the business item, "Resolution Objecting to Refugee Resettlement Under the Refugee Act of 1980 (8 U.S.C. § 1522) Within the County of St. Croix, Wisconsin." BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Financial Reports for December 2023 Administrator Ken Witt discussed the financial reports for December 2023. RESULT: DISCUSSED 2. Resolution Objecting to Refugee Resettlement Under the Refugee Act of 1980 (8 U.S.C. § 1522) Within the County of St. Croix, Wisconsin Supervisor Lisa Lind introduced a resolution to refugee resettlement under the Refugee Act of 1980 (8 U.S.C. § 1522) within the County of St. Croix, Wisconsin. Long motioned, Feidler second to postpone indefinitely the resolution as long as the County Administrator researches the correct process for refugee placement. Motion carried 4-0. RESULT: POSTPONED INDEFINITELY [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Bob Long, Supervisor SECONDER: Bob Feidler, Supervisor AYES: Bob Long, Carah Koch, Bob Feidler, Scott Counter EXCUSED: Paul Berning 3. Reclassification Request to Create Land Use Planner II Position Human Resources Director Audrie Haycraft discussed the reclassification to create Land Use Planner II position. Counter motioned, Long second to create the Land Use Planner II position. Motion carried 4-0. Reclassification Request of Behavioral Health Technician to Behavioral Health Case Manager/Social Worker Human Resource Director Haycraft discussed the reclassification to change Behavioral Health Technician to Case Manager/Social Worker. Long motioned, Counter second the reclassify the Behavioral Health Technician to Case Manager/Social Worker. Motioned carried 4-0. Ordinance to Repeal and Recreate Chapter 2 – Records Retention and Disposition – of the St. Croix County Code of Ordinances Corporate Counsel Heather Amos discussed ordinance to repeal and recreate Chapter 2 - Records Retention and Disposition - of the St. Croix County Code of Ordinances. Feidler motioned, Long second to recommend ordinance to repeal and recreate Chapter 2 - Records Retention and Disposition - of the St. Croix County Code of Ordinances. Motion carried 4-0. Counter motioned, Long second the resolution for continuation of Self-Insured Workers Compensation Program. Motioned carried 4-0.
