BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

CALL TO ORDER
Chair Malick called the meeting to order at 8:35 a.m.

RESULT:ACCEPTED
ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE
Chair Malick announced; at the request of the applicant the Board will be going on a chartered
boat trip this morning to view the site from the water. Chair Malick invited the applicant and the
opponents to also attend. After viewing the site from the water, the Board members will then
view the site from the land.
Chair Malick asked the applicant and the opponent to describe to the Board what it is that the
Board should be looking for from the water.
The applicant and the opponent then offered their advice on what the Board should look for from
the water and also what to look for while doing their viewing on land.
SITE VISITS
The Board recessed at 9:50 a.m.
The Board reconvened at 1: 05 p.m.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
1.Blide, Hanke and Calda Donna, Variance
COMMENTS - Current Meeting:
Grabau presented staff report for the Ann Blide/Ben Hanke/Calda Donna LLC Variance request
for a reduction of the 200 foot setback from the Ordinary High Watermark of the St Croix River.
Questions and Clarifications were received from the Board.
There were comments in favor and also in opposition.
RESULT:CLOSED
BUSINESS ITEMS
1.Ann Blide/Ben Hanke/Calda Donna and Bruce Lenzen Design Build LLC, Agent.
Variance request for a reduction of the 200 foot setback from the Ordinary High
Watermark of the St Croix River.
No vote taken, will be taken at the September BOA meeting.
