CALL TO ORDER
Chair Malick called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. Board of Adjustment - Regular Meeting - Jan 22, 2015 8:30 AM
RESULT: ACCEPTED AS AMENDED
PUBLIC HEARINGS
1. Rickard, Tom , Conditional Use
Blackburn presented Staff Report for Conditional Use Request to operate a 50 foot by
100 foot commercial kennel.
Agent Josh Miller spoke in favor of the requested Permit.
Several adjoining landowners discussed concerns.
Recessed at 10:00 am
Reconvened at 10:10 am
Chair Malick and Board reviewed adjoining landowners concerns, with Miller.
Rickard, Applicant spoke in favor. Applicant has owned this property for 12 years. This
land is farmland and to his knowledge has no wetlands.
Grabau submitted exhibit # 4 Petition from neighbors.
Hearing closed: 1:20 p.m.
SITE VISITS
Board Recessed for Site Visit at: 10: 45 a.m.
Board Reconvened at: 1: 16 p.m.
BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Tom Rickard, Conditional Use request to operate a 50 foot by 100 foot commercial
kennel.
Motion by Sontag, 2nd by Niccum. Motion carried unanimously.(Specifics on file in the
Community Development Department)
RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]
