APPROVAL OF MINUTES Board of Adjustment – Regular Meeting – June 25, 2015 8:30 AM RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC HEARINGS 1. Conditional Use Dairy Operation - Smith 2. Non-Metallic Mining Permit Renewal - Utecht Sand & Gravel Closed both hearings at 1128 SITE VISITS Departed: 9:21am. Returned: 11:24am BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Conditional Use Permit to Exceed Animal Units on a Dairy Operation - Smith MOTION: to grant a Conditional Use Permit to the applicant Mark Smith, who is purchasing land from the property owner and agent Mark Berends, for a livestock facility that exceeds one animal unit per acre of land suitable for animal waste utilization pursuant to Section 17.15 (6) (u) of the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance with the attached eight (8) conditions. RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Edward Sontag, Citizen SECONDER: David Peterson, Vice Chair AYES: Buck Malick, David Peterson, James Nelson, Edward Sontag ABSENT: David Niccum 2. NMM- Utecht Sand & Gravel, Inc. Conditional Use Permit MOTION: To grant the applicants, Russ and Jan Utecht, a renewal of a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to operate a sand and gravel pit for the property located in the East ½ of the NE ¼ and the NE ¼ of the SE ¼ and the NW ¼ of the SE ¼, with the attached fourteen (14) conditions.
