Board of Adjustment – Regular Meeting – April 27, 2017 8:30 AM RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC HEARINGS 1. Conditional Use Permit to construct a lift according to Section 17.36 F.3.a.3) and to fill and grade greater than 10,000 square feet or more outside of the slope preservation zone according to Section 17.36 F.3.a.6) of the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance. RESULT: CLOSED 2. Conditional Use Permit to operate a Landscaping Business pursuant to section 17.18 (12) of the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance. RESULT: CLOSED SITE VISITS 10:00 AM - 11:18 AM BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Conditional Use Permit to construct a lift according to Section 17.36 F.3.a.3) and to fill and grade greater than 10,000 square feet or more outside of the slope preservation zone according to Section 17.36 F.3.a.6) of the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance. Droher presented. Recess this hearing until after site visit. Resume 11:18am. Per Chair Malick there is no recording of the deliberation and decisions made during the remainder of this meeting. MOTION: To approve the conditional use permit for Construction of a lift to provide safe access to the St. Croix River and for filling and grading 10,000 square feet or more outside of the slope preservation zone as recommended by staff. RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Buck Malick, Chair SECONDER: David Peterson, Vice Chair AYES: Buck Malick, David Peterson, David Niccum, James Nelson, Edward Sontag 2. Conditional Use Permit to operate a Landscaping Business pursuant to section 17.18 (12) of the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance. Hays presented. Staff and agent will create a paving map during Board's site visit Recess until after site visit. Resume 11:19am. Exhibit 3 is the new site plan Accepted and made part of this official record; a is paved, p is gravel, t is non-gravel coverings. MOTION to approve a Conditional Use Permit to develop the referenced site for a landscaping business and limited retail of landscaping products. Requesting WDNR opinion for Shoreland Variances in St. Croix County Denzer and Malick clarified reasons for this request. MOTION: To forward attached letter to DNR.
