BUSINESS ITEMS
1. The Board may convene into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 19.85(1)(g) to confer with
legal counsel concerning strategy to be adopted by the Board with respect to litigation in
which it is involved. Calda Donna vs. St. Croix County Board of Adjustment
Move by Malik, seconded by Peterson to convene into closed session pursuant to Wis.
Stat. § 19.85(1)(g) to confer with legal counsel concerning strategy to be adopted by the
Board with respect to litigation in which it is involved. Calda Donna LLC v. St. Croix
County Board of Adjustment. Motion carried on a roll call vote 5-0. Attorneys Scott Cox,
Remzy BItar and Valijon Anderson were deemed necessary for the discussion in closed
session.
RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]

2. Reconvene into open session and take action on items under discussion in closed session
and/or report action taken in closed session, if any.
Reconvene into open session and take action on any items under discussion in closed
session and/or report action taken in closed session, if any. Motion by Peterson,
seconded by Sontag to reconvene in open session. Motion carried 5-0. Motion by
Sontag, seconded by Niccum, to set a new hearing on the Calda Donna matter as the
Board has decided not to appeal the Circuit Court’s decision to the Court of Appeals.

3. Discuss Hexum v. St. Croix County Board of Adjustment Decision
Discuss Hexum v. St. Croix County Board of Adjustment decision. The Board discussed
with Corporation Counsel Scott Cox the recent favorable decision in the above entitled
matter.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
