1. Non-Metallic Mining Renewal for Gillen Pit - Mathy- Erin Prairie
Hearing opened at 10:36 AM - Hearing closed at 10:43 AM
2. Non-Metallic Mining Renewal Downing Pit - Mathy- Springfield
Hearing opened at 10:45 AM - Hearing closed at 11:16 AM.
Gene Schuldt, property owner to the south of this mine, spoke.
Kent Olsvig, Operations Manager for Milestone Materials at the Downing Pit,
answered questions from the board.

1. Non-Metallic Mining Renewal for Gillen Pit - Mathy- Erin Prairie
Mike Wozniak, Land Use Administrator, presented the staff report and findings. No
complaints on record. No changes to the mining plan or reclamation plan.
MOTION to approve the request for a non-metallic mining renewal in the Town
of Erin Prairie.
RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]

2. Non-Metallic Mining Renewal Downing Pit - Mathy- Springfield
Mike Wozniak, Land Use Administrator, presented the staff report and answered
questions of the board. No complaints on record and no changes to the operation or
reclamation plans.
MOTION to approve the request for a Non-metallic mining renewal at the
Downing Pit in Springfield Township.
RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]

3. Variance to Expand a Non-Conforming Structure on Bass Lake - Meister
Mike Wozniak, Land Use Administrator, presented the staff recommendation.
MOTION: To adopt the staff recommendation to deny this application for a
Variance to expand a non-conforming structure on Bass Lake.
RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]

4. Review of limitation of materials for BOA
Ellen Denzer, Community Development Director, and Scott Cox, Corporation Counsel,
presented the guidelines with edits by Chairman Malick.
MOTION: To adopt the guidelines with today's changes to be in place for one
year.
