Board of Adjustment – Regular Meeting – April 22, 2021 10:30 AM RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC HEARINGS 1. Request to Renew CUP for Non-Metallic mining - Mathy - Town of Springfield Public hearing opened at 10:38 AM. Closed at 10:52 AM. 2. Request for Variance to remove a shed in the Riverway - Lee -Town of Troy Public hearing opened at 10:56 AM. Hearing closed at 11:44 AM. SITE VISITS BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Request to Renew CUP for Non-Metallic Mining - Mathy - Town of Springfield Mike Wozniak, Land Use Administrator, presented the staff report and recommendations to the Board. Motion: To approve the request to Renew the Non-metallic mining Conditional Use Permit for Mathy in the Town of Springfield as the staff has recommended and in addition to allow the financial assurance to be adjusted to correct mathematical calculations in the amount of the bond. RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: David Peterson, County Board SECONDER: David Niccum, Citizen AYES: Buck Malick, David Peterson, David Niccum EXCUSED: Joe Miller, Tom Spaniol, Steve Schalla 2. Request for Variance to remove a shed in the Riverway - Lee - Town of Troy Mike Wozniak, Land Use Administrator, presented the staff report and answered questions from the board. To condition 1 add Variance allows the applicant to remove the shed and construct the garage..... also in condition 1. The addition shall be flush with the front or east side of the garage if the power company allows. Any new or expansion of an auxiliary building is prohibited. Condition 2. After second comma, insert for at least 2" of precipitation in 24 hours. MOTION: To approve variance request as amended. MOTION: Peterson/Niccum to re-open this agenda item to insert in condition 1 a maximum of 148.5 square feet MOTION to approve the request for a variance to remove a shed in the Riverway for Lee in the Town of Troy - Peterson/ Niccum, unanimous RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: David Niccum, Citizen SECONDER: David Peterson, County Board AYES: Buck Malick, David Peterson, David Niccum EXCUSED: Joe Miller, Tom Spaniol, Steve Schalla ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE We are still looking for a second alternate for the Board of Adjustment.
