RESULT:ACCEPTED PUBLIC HEARINGS 1.Conditional Use Request for Town of St. Joseph/Stantec for drainage improvements - 3 areas Hearing opened at 10:35 AM -closed at 11:08 AM. Hearings for three Conditional Use permits run concurrently. 2.Variance to Slope Disturbance -Pakonen/GV Investmetns -Town of Somerset Board member Joe Miller is recused from this matter. Hearing opened at 11:11 AM - closed at 12:40 PM. 3. Variance to Driveway Setback - Pakonen/GV Investments - Town of Somerset Hearing opened at 11:11 AM - closed at 12:40 PM SITE VISITS BUSINESS ITEMS 1. 3 Conditional Use Requests Town of St. Joseph Road & Drainage Improvements Mike Wozniak, Land Use Administrator, presented the staff report and findings to the Board. MOTION to approve the Conditional Use Request #1 for reconstruction of Church and Egard Streets in the Town of St. Joseph. RESULT: APPROVED \[UNANIMOUS\] MOVER: David Peterson, County Board SECONDER: David Niccum, Citizen AYES: Buck Malick, David Peterson, David Niccum, Joe Miller EXCUSED: Tom Spaniol, Steve Schalla 2. Conditional Use Requests for Town of St. Joseph for Drainage Improvements MOTION to approve the Conditional Use Request #2 for filling and grading less than 10,000 square feet in the Riverway District and to approve the Conditional Use Request #3 for installation of structural erosion control measures in the Slope Preservation Zone. Exhibit 4 - DNR comments on Pakonen Variance was given to each board member. MOTION: to deny the request for a variance to disturb slopes greater than 25% to construct a driveway for Pakonen in the Town of Somerset. Variance to setback - Pakonen/GV Investments - Town of Somerset Mike Wozniak, County Land Use Administrator, presented the staff report and findings to the Board of Adjustment. MOTION: to deny the request for a variance to setback to encroach into the 5' driveway setback for Pakonen in the Town of Somerset.
