Board of Adjustment – Regular Meeting – December 7, 2023 10:00 AM RESULT: ACCEPTED PUBLIC HEARINGS 1. Conditional Use Permit for Baldwin Airport Properties to increase camper trailer sites from 17 to 47 Hearing opened at 10:28 AM. Hearing continued to the next meeting. 2. Conditional Use Permit for Short Lane Land LLC to use land for Agricultural Supply Use Hearing opened at 9:21 AM. Hearing closed at 10:04 AM. BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Continued from January 25, 2024 Board of Adjustment Meeting: Conditional Use Permit for Baldwin Airport Properties to increase camper trailer sites from 17 to 47 Miller recused himself to represent Town of Hammond. The Board determined they have jurisdiction on the application. Mike Wozniak, County Land Use Administrator, presented the application, staff report, and exhibits to the Board for the record. Testimony/public comments were received. Motion to postpone to the March 28th Board of Adjustment meeting. Tellijohn/Peterson RESULT: POSTPONED 2. Conditional Use Permit for Short Lane Land LLC to use land for Agricultural Supply Use The Board determined they have jurisdiction on the application. Mike Wozniak, County Land Use Administrator, presented the application, staff report, and exhibits to the Board for the record. Testimony/public comments were received. MOTION to approve the request for Short Lane Land LLC to use land for Agricultural Supply Use with nine conditions as noted. RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Joe Miller, Vice-Chair SECONDER: Greg Tellijohn, Supervisor AYES: Buck Malick, Joe Miller, Greg Tellijohn, David Niccum ABSENT: David Peterson EXCUSED: Steve Schalla 3. Variance Request- After-the-fact for driveway - Ashleson - Town of Springfield The Board determined they have jurisdiction on the application. This hearing was closed during the December 7, 2023, meeting. The decision was postponed for the staff to gather information regarding the amount of driveway that exceeds 12% slope and the amount of driveway within the 25% slope area. Jason Kjeseth, CDD Director, presented the additional information and exhibits to the Board for the record. MOTION to approve the variance with recommended conditions for Ashleson in the Town of Springfield for an after-the-fact driveway permit.
