BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Strategic Planning Work Session
Facilitators U-W Extension Community Resource Educator Eric Biltonen and
Administrative Operations Manager Ken Witt introduced themselves and highlighted the
proposed strategic issues.
Workgroups consisting of County Board Supervisors and Department Heads were set up
to review a specific issue.
1. Staff and Education
2. Funding and Revenue
3. Hire and Retain Staff
4. Technology
5. Education of Services
6. Allocation of Resources for Better Response
7. Process
8. Document Control
Each group determined a strategic question and if the issue is being addressed now, the
urgency of the issue and if it required County Board action.
Biltonen and Witt will review and bring the issues back to the next Committee of the
Whole meeting.
