Community Development Committee - Regular Meeting - Nov 20, 2014 6:00 PM RESULT: ACCEPTED 2. Community Development Committee - Regular Meeting - Dec 18, 2014 6:00 PM RESULT: ACCEPTED BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Financial Reports RESULT: DISCUSSED 2. 2774 : Loop Trail Support of Resolution for access to Hy 35 and presentation by WDOT Presentation by Mason and Abboud from WDOT. Discussion held. Motion to direct Community Development Department and Corporation Counsel to draft a resolution supporting a connection from the loop trail to Hwy 35. The resolution will be reviewed by the Transportation Committee at their February meeting. The resolution will be presented at the February CDC meeting. 7:20 pm- Transportation Committee Chair - Peavey adjourned the Transportation Committee meeting. Crisdhome Farm, Inc. NonCompliance with Farmland Preservation Program Denzer provided background. Heise discussed efforts to work with property owners in multiple ways. Farmland Preservation Zoning Amendments to Chapter 17 Zoning Ordinance and District Maps to meet Department of Ag, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) requirements for State Certification of Farmland Preservation Zoning Districts. Denzer reviewed proposal from DATCP The Committee scheduled a public hearing on this matter for the February meeting, to include zoning ordinance, text amendments, zoning maps and amendments. RESULT: DISCUSSED ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE Ring: Kids fishing even at Perch Lake at 2pm on 2/22/15. Also January 17-18, 2015 is free fishing weekend in Wisconsin. Berke discussed the Hudson Hot Air Affair coming up February 6-8, 2015. Emphasis on agriculture and nature.
