Ring introduced topic and parameters of pubic hearing. Opened public hearing at 604pm.
Introduced senior planner Amanda Engesether. Presentation given by Engesether.

Dave Niccum
No comments in opposition.

1. Ordinance Amending Chapter 17 -- Zoning Subchapter I Section 17.09; Subchapter II
Sections 17.11, 17.14, 17.145, 17.21; Subchapter VII Sections 17.70, 17.72; Subchapter
VIII Section 17.85; and Adopting Amended Zoning District Maps for the Towns of
Baldwin, Erin Prairie, Somerset and Stanton.
Hansen motion - recommend to county board adoption of ordinance amending chapter 17
of county zoning ordinance
Second Leibfried.
No discussion.

2. Resolution Supporting Trail Connections from the St. Croix River Crossing Loop Trail to
Willow River State Park, Town Of Hudson, Village Of North Hudson, City Of Hudson
and the Interstate 94 Bridge Over the St. Croix River Via State Highway 35
Ring - introduced topic.
Hansen - better access south from loop trail can take advantage of other trails and roads
and cities.
Reviewed by Transportation Committee and all requested changes were incorporated into
draft presented tonight.
Transportation Committee did not act on this resolution but did indicate support
Comments in support: Marian Webber - River Valley Trail Group, Susan Heuiser - St.
Croix Bike and Pedestrian Coalition.
Motion by Hansen to recommend adoption of the resolution to the County Board of
Supervisors. Second by Leibfried.
Request from Ring to amend line 17 to include: Town of St. Joseph, Town of Somerset,
Town of Star Prairie, City of New Richmond, Town and City of Hudson, Town of
Richmond, all communities in support of connecting the loop trail to I-94 bridge.
Hansen and Leibfried agreed and withdrew the initial motion.
Motion by Hansen to recommend resolution to County Board of Supervisors with
amendment to Line 17 to include Town of St. Joseph, Town of Somerset, Town of Star
Prairie, City of New Richmond, Town and City of Hudson, Town of Richmond, all
communities in support of connecting the loop trail to I-94 bridge. Second by Leibfried.

Hansen asked about parks revenues.
Denzer talked about Terror in the Glen, and Bookworm Trail and other 2014 promotional
events that helped to increase revenue. Hansen thanked parks staff for good work.
