BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Election of Chairperson for Community Development Committee Berke brings forward. Hansen nominates Ring, Coulter second. MOTION: Cast unanimous ballot for Ring to be Community Development Committee Chair RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Daniel Hansen, Vice Chair SECONDER: Laurie Bergren, Supervisor AYES: Tom Coulter, Laurie Bergren, Agnes Ring, Jill Ann Berke, Daniel Hansen 2. Election of Vice Chair of Community Development Committee Ring asks for nominations. Coulter nominates Hansen, second Berke. MOTION: Cast unanimous ballot for Hansen for Vice Chair of Community Development Committee RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Tom Coulter, Supervisor SECONDER: Laurie Bergren, Supervisor AYES: Tom Coulter, Laurie Bergren, Agnes Ring, Jill Ann Berke, Daniel Hansen 3. Establish Regular Meeting Schedule Denzer explains public hearings. Discussion held. MOTION: Community Development Committee meetings will be held the third Thursday of each month at 5:00 p.m. Any public hearings will be heard at 6:00 p.m. RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: Jill Ann Berke, Supervisor SECONDER: Tom Coulter, Supervisor AYES: Tom Coulter, Laurie Bergren, Agnes Ring, Jill Ann Berke, Daniel Hansen REQUEST FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS Hansen - Discuss Capital Improvement Projects Berke - Tour of park improvements CIP on next meeting agenda Berke requested status of UW Extension and possible resolution in support of current operationsCo-Department Heads Ryan Sterry and Joan Sprain to present. Ring - requested discussion on Bike and Ped plan meeting with Transportation Committee and update for new members. Ring requested update on Mitigation Fund Projects and discussion of possible field trips. ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE Denzer offered a tour of the Hudson office to new members following the meeting. Peterson provided committee members copies of the County Parks brochure. Denzer asked Peterson to email the annual reports for Community Development, Extension and Register of Deeds to the Committee members. Berke announced the May Fair event, a fundraiser for new fair buildings, from 4-9 pm May 1 at the fairgrounds ADJOURN DATE OF NEXT MEETING Thursday, May 26th, at 5pm.
