PUBLIC COMMENT
Several residents from Emerald Township spoke regarding the Livestock Facility Conditional
Use Permit Request by Emerald Sky Dairy. Earl Fadre from the American Legion Post in
Somerset spoke regarding the sign.

Grabau presented - Exhibit 4 fax from Town of Stanton handed out to all committee
members. Public hearing open 6:49 p.m. no comments heard. Closed 6:50 p.m.
MOTION: To recommend to the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors to amend
the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for the Town of Stanton Sec 30, T 31N, R
17W

Grabau presented. Public Hearing Opened at: 5:52 p.m. Grabau relayed message from
phone call with Roger Hughes; from the public those who spoke: Kate O'Meara and her
husband, Bridget O'Meara read a letter from Sherrill Schottler, Chris Kohn, Jon
Sonnentag, Mark Doyle, Jim Russell, Levon O'Haodha. Public Hearing closed at 6:23
p.m.
MOTION: To Recommend to the St. Croix County Board to adopt the amendment
to the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of Section 13, Town 30N, Range 20W, in
the Town of Somerset
RESULT: RECOMMENDED [4 TO 1]
MOVER: Daniel Hansen, Vice Chair

Provided it for study for next month.
6. Updates on §17.65 Sign Regulation of Chapter 17
Denzer - not very old, very good shape, working with Corporation Counsel on this;
recent legislation regulates some changes to our ordinance.
7. Livestock Facility Siting Background Information
Ring - introduced - this is for discussion only and no decision will be made tonight.
Denzer presented - Chapter 11 and Chapter 17 administrated by CDD. This sheet is more
like a FAQ.
REQUESTS FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
Shoreland Ordinance
UW Extension (nExt) update - can do audio conferencing but not video conferencing, will invite
WCA from Eau Claire.
