1. Financial Reports
2. Position descriptions for UW-Extension Agriculture & Horticulture shared positions
Sterry and Sprain discussed potential job descriptions for Interim Horticulture Educator
and Interim Crops and Soils Educator. Interim because of restructuring that is going on
within UW Extension. February 2nd WASAC Meeting in Hudson all CDC members
invited by Sterry.
Meeting at WITC Rice Lake regarding CAFOs. What's new and coming down the pike.
3. Groundwater/Nutrient Solutions Study Scoping Discussions and Suggestions for County
Board
Ring discussed. Larson talked about process - needs names of suggested participants. 9
members and expertise from others. Berke suggests CDC meeting with HHS in January.
Hansen would like to be on committee.
MOTION: CDC gets together with HHS in January for a meeting to look at the resolution
including comments and attributes mentioned by Superv. Hansen.
Bergren seconded. Would like to move with deliberate speed.
Larson will bring names of recommended committee to county board in January.
MOTION: For HHS and CDC to meet in January to provide input into the scope and also
talk about the composition of the advisory committee. Amended to Study group.

4. Bike and Pedestrian Plan Update and Schedule for Completion
Budrow gave brief update. Nothing new in plan document. Letter and email to full
advisory team before end of year. Would like to bring to county board for adoption in
March. Public Hearing in February.
Ring would like Budrow to share information with local municipalities. Add April
5. Follow up on October Presentation With Recommendation for Sign Ordinance Changes
Denzer- presented and discussed.
MOTION to adopt the 2nd approach as stated on the example. Bergren
2nd - Hansen. Motion withdrawn and second withdrawn.
Request from Bergren to have a public information meeting.
CDD come up with 5 or less questions to send out to towns association. And have a
public information meeting. (Try for January)
6. Update on Consultant Selection for Comprehensive Ordinance Revisions
Ring presented. Bergren and Ring on the Comprehensive Zoning Revision Committee.
Interviewed 3 different consulting teams. Budrow has contacted references. Winnebago
county gave glowing reference.
REQUESTS FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
Berke - talked with Pat Thompson and Ken Witt about this. Federal Payment in lieu of taxes
could be targeted toward bike and ped areas.
