Amended: Denzer requested wording changes to agenda Item 4 and Next meeting
information on the February 23, 2017 minutes.

1.Lake Mallalieu Association Request for Funding
Doug Meyers President of Lake Mallalieu Association presents. Gage Station is right
below dam at Willow River State Park. They would like funding to continue for next 4
years until new dam is complete. Community Development Director Denzer shared
comments from Dan Baumann from Wisconsin DNR regarding this project.
MOTION: To approve $600 per year for the next 4 years to fund the Lake Mallalieu
Gage Station.

change to one of the fastest growing counties in the state of WI.

6.Joint meeting CDC and with Transportation committees to Discuss the St. Croix County
Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan

Transportation Committee: called to order by Supervisor Peavey 6:32PM; all present; no
public comment;
Budrow presented.
Discussion through presentation. Public Hearing draft in surrounding newspapers today
3/23/2017
April 4 county board meeting presentation, Public Hearing on 4/6 and hoping for county
board action on 5/2/2017. Ring - include website on footer of each page so folks can go
to the webpage to expand it.
Ramberg handed out and discussed an estimate of the master project schedule.
Peavey handed out minutes from Transportation meeting - item 10 changes to plan.
Page 78 part3, remove paragraph relating to Maintenance.
On E, A, and I - need off road paths not shoulders for safety of riders.
Accepting recommendation from Highway on AEI from engineer - explore options vs
using on road.
Rose lane issue - primary recommendations paved shoulder (from BB to Baldwin) take in
to account the two schools and traffic, let's make the recommendation but not have it two
ways. Be consistent from Rose lane all the way between Baldwin and Woodville. Pick
one way to do it and put in plan. Town of Baldwin needs to plan. Staff should pick one.
Berke picks path - change to path - can even apply for SRTS.
