1. 2018 Community Development Committee Budget Review
Ken Witt - explained budget - focused on administrative portion of the budget first. Did
not focus on personnel related budget items.
2. Town of Troy Ordinance Update
CDD Director Denzer gave background.

4. Town of Stanton Zoning District Amendment
Brett Budrow presented.
MOTION to instruct the staff to absorb the costs related to make this correction,
authorize the committee chair to sign the application. CDC to sponsor a resolution
to have this parcel rezoned.

2. Update on Comprehensive Revision
Jason Valerius of MSA presented.
At 6:37 PM Budrow revisited questions from the committee.
REQUESTS FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
Supervisor Berke - Lindquist property town of Springfield for us (committee) to learn from it.
CDD Director Denzer - will copy this committee on the communication to the Lindquists.
Supervisor Berke and Supervisor Hansen would like to have education on Purchase of
Development Rights (PDR) and additional greenspaces in the county.
ANNOUNCEMENTS AND CORRESPONDENCE
Supervisor Hansen - going to miss Agnes
Director Denzer - We have a signed contract to purchase the Eckert property. This request passed
last night at Administration Committee. Now will go to October County Board. We submitted a
grant for development of trailhead property in the amount of $200K- this was ranked as the #1
project in our district. Property acquisition Town of St. Joseph was also ranked high and moved
on to the next step. The grant for purchase of Eckert property has gone forward. A grant for work
on wildwood trail has been approved but we have received no paperwork yet. Supervisor Hansen
asked who on the CDD staff is writing for grants? Director Denzer explained that Tammy
Wittmer with assistance from Dave and Grant and oversight by Brett, and Nate Beaver wrote
snowmobile grant. $196,000 recycling grant was written by Megen Hines, SCC recycling
specialist. A $300,000 TRM grant was written by Kyle Kulow and Liz Usborne.
Supervisor Berke - Friends of the St. Croix County Fair fundraiser is October 14th at Gibby's
Lanes in New Richmond. Ellen will provide further information to the committee.
