3. Update on the Zoning Ordinance Comprehensive Revision
Hilgers presented.
4. Resolution approving amendments to the Town of Hudson Zoning Ordinance 105-
12C(6)(a)[7], 105-13E(1)(g) and 105-14D(1)(g) Amending exterior wall finish
regulations; 105-13F(6) amending building height regulations; 105-12H(1) 105-
13F(5), and 105-14G(1) amending structure setbacks; 105-19B(1)(b), 105-19B(2)(a),
105-19B(2)(b), 105-19B(3)(a), 105-19B(3)(b), 105-19B(4)(a), 105-19B(4)(b) and 105-
19B(5)(b) amending structure setbacks from highways; and 105-19F amending
access driveway regulations
MOTION: To recommend to the St. Croix County Board as presented by staff and
the Town of Hudson.

5. St. Croix County 2018-2028 Land and Water Resource Management Plan -
Implementation Covering Past Five Years and Future Directions
Denzer and Usborne presented. Added one goal around partnerships and expanded the
water quality section as a result of the GWSWQSG (Ground Water Surface Water Quality
Study Group). Hearing closed at 12:42PM.
Need a signature on the Plan Revision Review Form. Discussion held with committee
and staff. No further questions. Reviewed, discussed, and approved statements as
written.
6. State Land & Water Conservation Board Meeting Attendance in Madison, August 7,
2018 at 9:00 AM
Usborne and Denzer discussed. Supervisor Hansen will attend to represent the
committee and board.
7. Revisions to 2019 Fee Schedule
Denzer presented. Committee and Director Denzer discussed. Staff will bring to
committee annually for review.

8. Financial Reports
Witt presented.
REQUESTS FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
Pesticides and use of them, what are banned, what are tracing in drinking water, wild parsnip
spraying, and what is found in water in St. Croix County, both residential and agricultural; may
want to pull in highway and facilities.
ANNOUNCEMENTS AND CORRESPONDENCE
Outdoor recreation plan open house Tuesday, July 31st. 430-730 here in the County Board
Room.
Karst workshop was held on July 17th at Baldwin Legion, about 45 people attended. They
went to Emerald quarry for tour.
Boat tour on the St. Croix River for Workshop on the Water - July 11th. Coulter and
Achterhof attended.
1. Emerald Ash Borer found in St. Croix County
2. Troy Beach closed due to high water on the St. Croix River
COMMENTS - Current Meeting:
May open this weekend. Revenue will be down $7-$9K this year.
3. 2017 Conservation Aids Project
COMMENTS - Current Meeting:
Nature Center in New Richmond.
DATE OF NEXT MEETING:
Joint meeting with Health & Human Services Wednesday, August 8th at 5:00 PM to discuss
recommendations from the Ground and Surface Water Quality Study Group; Regular meeting
Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 5:00 PM.
