1. Request to Rezone 9.0 acres from Rural Residential to Commercial Town of Somerset
- County Line Road, LLC
Kevin Grabau, Land Use Administrator, gave staff report for the County Line Road LLC
application.
Hearing opened at 5:08 PM; hearing closed at 5:20 PM
BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Amending the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for the Town of Somerset, Section
2, Rezoning from Rural Residential to Commercial
St. Croix County Zoning Administrator Kevin Grabau gave the staff report. Town of
Somerset approved this request at their April meeting.
MOTION: To approve the rezoning request as listed for County Line LLC.
RESULT: RECOMMENDED [UNANIMOUS]

2. Presentation on Progress of Mapping of Non-transient Wells by CDD Water Quality
& Outreach Specialist
Nathaniel Baeumler, Water Quality and Outreach Specialist, gave the presentation. 6000
wells mapped in the county, since March we have added 3000 to the map, possible
16,000 in the county.
3. Presentation by CDD Planning/GIS Intern and Water Quality & Outreach Specialist on
The Groundwater Contamination Susceptibility Project Using the DRASTIC Model
Nicole Dunn, GIS Intern, presented the ESRI demonstration.
4. Discussion of draft ordinance language for regulation of junk and salvage operations
John Hilgers, Senior Planner, gave the presentation. Two handouts were given to the
board and staff. Also adding language intermittent streams and drainage ways to item
17.352 2 in the general provisions of the salvage operation in the code.
5. Dissolution of WACEC/Creation of WEXA
6. Consideration of Capital Projects 2020-2024
Ken Witt, Finance Director, packet page 63, gave presentation and answered questions
from the committee.
7. Community Development Staffing Requests
Ellen Denzer, Community Development Department Director, gave presentation with
support of department staff.
MOTION: To recommend to the county board to accept the requests as
presented for staffing.
RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]
