1. Resolution approving an amendment to the Town of Forest Zoning Ordinance,
Article 5, Section 7C.5, Regarding home occupations
John Hilgers, Community Development Senior Planner, presented the request for the
Town of Forest Zoning Ordinance Amendment with regard to Home Occupations.
MOTION: To recommend approval of this amendment to the St. Croix County
Board of Supervisors.

2. Land Use Application Process Timeframes
Ellen Denzer, Community Development Department Director, summarized this
information. This information is already in the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance. This
summary may be added to the website.
3. Groundwater Testing Update
Tim Stieber, Resource Management Administrator, gave an update of the Groundwater
Team activities.
4. Resolution in Support for Designation for the North Woods and Waters of the St.
Croix National Heritage Area
Mr. Buck Malick, Town of Hudson, talked about the National Heritage Area designation.
MOTION: To recommend approval of the Resolution in Support of the North
Woods and Waters of the St. Croix Region as a National Heritage Area to the
County Board.

5. Recycling Program Presentation
Kris Poston, St. Croix County Recycling Specialist, talked through the PowerPoint slides
for the committee. St. Croix County will roll out a responsible recycling awareness
program throughout the county buildings for their employees.
REQUESTS FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
January - Health and Well Being Educator from UW Madison Extension, Selena Freimark, will
give an overview of her role and accomplishments.
ANNOUNCEMENTS AND CORRESPONDENCE
A copy of the 2018 Community Development Department Annual Report, presented at the
November 5 Board of Supervisors meeting, was distributed to each committee member.
