1.Amending the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance Section 3, Township 31N, Range
18W, Town of Star Prairie -Rezoning 0.333 acres from R-1 Residential Zoning District
to R-2 Residential Zoning District, pursuant to Chapter 15.545 of the St. Croix County
Zoning Ordinance.
Hearing opened at 5:04PM. Hearing closed at 5:14 PM.
2.Resolution to Amend Chapter 30 -Parks
Public hearing opened at 5:15PM. Public hearing closed at 5:17PM.
BUSINESS ITEMS
1. Amending the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance Section 3, Township 31N, Rand
18W, Town of Star Prairie Rezoning 0.333 Acres from R-1 Residential Zoning
District to R-2 Residential Zoning District
John Hilgers, Senior Planner, presented the request for rezoning in the Town of Star
Prairie.
MOTION to recommend approval of the Amendment to the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance Section 3, Township 31N, Range
18W, Town of Star Prairie for the property at 2355 W. Cedar Lane,
New Richmond.
RESULT: RECOMMENDED \[UNANIMOUS\]
MOVER: Ryan Sherley, Supervisor

2. An Ordinance Amending Chapter 30, Parks of the St. Croix County Code of
Ordinances to Clarify Language Regarding Hunting, Trail Cameras, Park Properties,
Passes and Fees
Ellen Denzer, Community Development Director, presented the amended ordinance.
Motion to amend 30.14 (7) to read: (7) The placement or use of trail
or game cameras by any member of the public is only allowed in areas
open for hunting between the dates of September 1 to December 31
unless authorized in writing by the park Administrator or when used
for park security purposes - motion by Anderson, second by Sherley.
Motion to recommend approval of this Ordinance Amending the St. Croix
County Code of Ordinances to Clarify Language Regarding Hunting, Trail
Cameras, Park Properties, Passes and Fees, Chapter 30, as amended by the
Community Development Committee.
RESULT: RECOMMENDED \[UNANIMOUS\]

Kristen Bruder, Area Extension Director, and Kari Weiss, Community Development
Educator gave a brief overview of UW Extension.
RESULT: DISCUSSED
4. Overview of Planning and Land Information Division of Community Development
Brett Budrow, Planning and Land Information Administrator, presented the overview.
5. Resolution Authorizing Application for a Lake Monitoring and Protection Grant
Tim Stieber, Resource Management Administrator, presented the resolution to the
committee.
MOTION to recommend approval of the resolution authorizing an application for a
lake monitoring and protection grant to the County Board of Supervisors.
RESULT: RECOMMENDED \[UNANIMOUS\]

Kids Fee Fishing Contest, Sept 10th, kids ages 5-12. prizes. Take back lead tackle event on same
date. Gift cards have been donated to thank those folks for donating lead tackle.
