Please find enclosed an administrative land use permit for your project. This permit allows you to complete the project as submitted. This permit has been issued with the following conditions: • Notify the Zoning Office 3 days prior to the commencement of the project and upon the completion of the project. • Permit is valid for one year from the issuance date. • Obtain a town -building permit prior to the commencement of the project. Please contact John Ruemmele, Chairperson for the Town of Troy at 715-386-3486 or Brian Wert, Building Inspector at 715-386-5279 to obtain the necessary building permits for the project. • Submit photos of the final construction to the Zoning Office. The plans as submitted are found to be in compliance with the provisions of the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance and the Lower St. Croix River Way District. Staff finds that the project meets the spirit and intent of the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance (Lower St. Croix River Way District) for the following reasons: 1. A single-family residence is a permitted use in the Lower St. Croix River Way District. 2. As shown on the site plan, the residence meets all required setbacks. 3. The structure's height conforms to the height requirements of the District. 4. The approval of this project will not affect the public health, safety and welfare of the residents of St. Croix County. 5. This approval will not change the character of the neighborhood. 6. The site is well screened by existing vegetation. 7. The structure's exterior will be earth tone, which bends the structure in to the natural surroundings. 8. The construction and grading activities will not take place on slopes greater than 12 %. 9. The applicant will have the perimeter of the construction site staked with silt fence to prevent sediment delivery off site. If the scope of the project changes, please contact the Zoning Office immediately so we can assess the project to ascertain if additional zoning permits or approvals are necessary. If you have questions regarding this matter, I can be reached at the number above.
