To whom it may concern:
This letter confirms zoning approval according to the plan you have submitted to the Zoning Office to locate a 96 square foot off
premise sign at the Melgard Monument property in the Town of Troy. Please find enclosed an administrative land use permit for
your project. This permit allows you to complete the project as submitted.
This permit has been issued with the following conditions:
• Notify the Zoning Office 3 days prior to the commencement of the project and upon the completion of the project.
• Permit is valid for one year from the issuance date.
• Submit photos of the final construction to the Zoning Office.
Staff finds that the project meets the sign ordinance provisions of the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance, section 17.65 (3) for the
following reasons:
1. Off premises signs, up to 200 square feet, are allowed on land zoned Commercial with a County land use permit.
2. The sign location, as shown on the site plan, meets the setback requirements for a sign of its size.
If the scope of the project changes, please contact the Zoning Office immediately so we can assess the project to ascertain if
additional zoning permits or approvals are necessary.
