Vice Chair Larson called the meeting to order at 5:00 PM

Welcome by County Administrator Patrick Thompson.
2014 County Board Supervisor Orientation Handbook
Thompson noted the orientation handbook is located on the meeting portal.

County Administrator Thompson introduced Attorney Andrew T. Phillips, of Phillips
Borowski and Wisconsin Counties Association staff, J. Michael Blaska. Phillips
reviewed the roles and responsibilities of County Government.
2. Roberts Rules - Running Effective Meetings
Wisconsin Counties Association staff, J. Michael Blaska reviewed Roberts Rules and
parliamentary procedures.
3. Standing Committee Election Process
Review by Corporation Counsel Scott Cox.
4. Open Meetings
Review by Assistant Corporation Counsel Liz Rohl.
5. Public Records
Review by Corporation Counsel Scott Cox.
6. 2014 Budget
Presented by Finance Director Tabatha Hansen. Review of 2014 budget and timeline for
2015.
COUNTY BOARD STANDING COMMITTEE DESCRIPTIONS
Presentation of Committee Descriptions
A presentation of county department duties as reported to their standing committee was
presented. Thompson recognized Ericka Mabis as the preparer of the presentation.
COUNTY CLERK PROCEDURE REVIEW
County Clerk Review
County Clerk Cindy Campbell reviewed per diem and mileage reimbursement, County
Board meeting schedule and attendance, email accounts, refreshment fund and records
maintained by the County Clerk.
