Roger Larson, County Board Chair Called to order by Chair Larson. Chair Larson asked each County Board Supervisor to introduce themselves. RESULT: DISCUSSED 2. Patrick Thompson, County Administrator County Administrator Patrick Thompson welcomed County Board members and introduced staff. Sicard left at 6:35 p.m. MEETING AND PORTAL INSTRUCTIONS; IT REVIEW 1. IT Review - Email Accounts and Tablets - IT Director John Allegro Information Technology Director John Allegro presented IT policies and issued Microsoft Surfaces to each board member. RESULT: DISCUSSED 2. Meeting Portal Instructions - County Clerk Cindy Campbell Presentation by County Clerk Cindy Campbell. RESULT: DISCUSSED 3. Human Resources Forms and Portal Review - Human Resources Director Heather Murray Human Resources Director Heather Murray and Human Resources Specialist Erin Murphy demonstrated the employee portal. RESULT: DISCUSSED PRESENTATIONS 1. Roles and Responsibilities - County Administrator Patrick Thompson and Corporation Counsel Scott Cox Roles and Responsibilities presented by Thompson. RESULT: DISCUSSED 2. Roberts Rules, Rules and Bylaws Review including Standing Committee Election Process and Committee Descriptions - Corporation Counsel Scott Cox Presented by Corporation Counsel Scott Cox and review of populating standing committees by Cox. RESULT: DISCUSSED 3. Open Meeting Law Review - Assistance Corporation Counsel Heather Wolske Presentation by Assistant Corporation Counsel Heather Wolske. RESULT: DISCUSSED 4. Budget and Strategic Plan - County Administrator Patrick Thompson and Finance Director Robert Mittet Review of strategic plan by Thompson. Thompson indicated the strategic plan will be reviewed some time this year. Finance Director Bob Mittet provided a review of the budget including the fund balance information. RESULT: DISCUSSED COUNTY CLERK PROCEDURE REVIEW 1. County Clerk Review (per diem and mileage reimbursement, board room voting system, etc) Campbell provided general information relating to Certificates of Election and oath of office, per diem and mileage reimbursement, committee sign-in sheets, refreshment fund, etc. RESULT: DISCUSSED ANNOUNCEMENTS Chair Larson surveyed the members regarding changing the meeting time of April 19th organizational meeting to 4:00 p.m. due to conflicts for some members who serve on municipal boards. There were objections the request.
